RSNO Studio Control Room Design & Build
Working to an incredibly tight deadline, Yellow Technology designed, built and commissioned a state of the art studio control room for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) in Spring 2024. The studio is designed to accommodate large production teams to allow the orchestra to work on high profile, large scale motion picture score recording projects. In addition to stunning listening acoustics, the studio features a 96 channel SSL Duality console, Dolby Atmos 9.1.4 and a large virtual window which facilitates high definition, low latency monitoring of the studio live room.
Film Composer Production Studio Design & Installation
As studio designers, we’re privileged to be able to play a part in optimising the creative processes for amazing composers and producers. In this short film Yellow Technology client John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom) shows us around the studio we designed and built for him. He discusses his workflow and how it led to the creation of the new space. The studio houses a myriad of analogue synthesisers and outboard equipment! John takes us through how the design allows for the ergonomic housing of this whilst maintaining impeccable studio acoustics and flexible, elegant audio routeing.
