Trying Times

During the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020-21, we experienced a sudden surge in the requirement for portable acoustic treatment solutions. With many artists, actors, presenters and musicians forced to produce their work from home, there was a requirement for a quick and temporary system to provide a usable acoustic environment in a variety of non-ideal environments.

After trialling some systems already in the market, we discovered that none were really robust enough to be moved around easily without damage.

And so we invented the AcoustiCase® - a high quality, rugged, portable acoustic screen.

The AcoustiCase® has gone on to be used for a variety of professional recording applications including audiobooks, podcasts and music, both in domestic environments and professional studios.

A Portable Vocal Booth

The AcoustiCase® is a 70mm panel absorber housed in a robust flight case. It opens to around 120º and stands on its own feet. For a reader or singer, we generally recommend a configuration of three units in a broken hexagon to form a small vocal booth. This typically provides enough absorption of unwanted reflections and room reverberation to provide a professional-sounding recorded result.
