Nuendo 4 is announced

The long-awaited update to Steinberg's flagship editor software, Nuendo, has been announced.

Now targeting music as well as post production markets, Nuendo 4 brings Intel Mac compatibility, together with a host of new features to bring Nuendo up-to-date with Cubase:

New automation system;
Mediabay database environment;
New post production editing tools;
New VST plug-ins;
Re-engineered audio mixer, giving advanced routeing and side-chaining capabilities;
Track presets;
Logical project editor for task automation;
Instrument tracks.

The optional Nuendo Expansion Kit (NEK) brings music editing features - such as notation - to the Nuendo platform.

Nuendo 4 is shipping now; upgrade and crossgrade pricing is available.
