Native Instruments Announces Kontakt 3

Audio software instrument specialist, Native Instruments, has announced the release of the latest version of their flagship sampler, Kontakt.

Kontakt 3's new features include:

A new 33GB, 1000 preset factory library;
Interface improvements, drawing distinction between primary parameters and complete editing freedom;
New browser and database functions, including quick searching;
New effects;
New wave editor and expanded mapping editor;
Further modulation options;
Tutorial videos.

Upgrades are available from previous versions of Kontakt, and from Kompakt-player versions, and the new release is shipping now.

On similar fronts, Native Instruments have also announced upgrades to their Guitar Rig software and Komplete package.
