Our Values

Yellow Technology has a set of values that apply to everything we are and everything we do.  Whilst it is fashionable for companies to create a set of values as a way to distinguish them from their competition, in our case this is not a marketing ploy.  We knew what made us different before we put it into words. 

Every member of our team has been selected based on the fact that they share the values of the company.  It's difficult to teach values in the same way that you might teach skills, so it is really important that we share these basic values as a starting point.  Our recruitment process concentrates on this area above everything else.

We apply our values to everything we do, from the way we answer the telephone to the way we manufacture cables to the way we install equipment.  We constantly question whether what we're doing fits in with our values, and we are always thinking of ways to improve.

Excellence

Excellence is about doing everything we do in the best way possible.  Using the best products and the best techniques; having the best people; even having the best clients!

Elegance

Elegance is about not just having the best products and the best service, but in making sure that everything goes together in a way that looks good and works well.  We tend to find that making a system look good has a knock-on effect of making it work well.  When a system looks good, people are more inclined to treat it well, and many of the techniques we use to make a system look good also ensure that it is robust and reliable.  Our cable management systems, for example, mean that you don't see a jumble of wires, as they are hidden away within well-managed compartments.  This in turn means that there is never strain on a cable or connector and so the system is protected.

Extraordinary Care

Extraordinary Care is possibly the most important of all our values, as it really covers the other two as well.  It is also the most difficult to achieve, and the one that we're always working on.

Extraordinary Care is applicable everywhere.  The way we answer the phone; the way we handle enquiries and support calls; the way we welcome our guests; the way we look after our team; the way we deal with our suppliers.  We never stop finding new ways of exhibiting Extraordinary Care.
