All of our paid support packages include access to our advanced on-line support tool, eCare. Many on-line support tools require the client to purchase and install specific software packages on their machines, and this can cause problems if the software becomes corrupted or misconfigured, or if a new version is released, for instance. eCare requires the client simply to allow a browser plug-in to be installed automatically and updated as required. It is Windows and Mac compatible and, whilst capable of working within most corporate networks, is entirely secure.

Through the eCare portal, we can (ONLY with your permission):

  • Chat with you using instant messages;
     
  • View your screen in real time;
     
  • Take control of your computer;
     
  • Allow you to view the screen of our consultant’s computer;
     
  • Allow you to control our consultant’s computer.

These features allow our consultants to diagnose problems much more easily and quickly than is possible through a telephone call. eCare sessions frequently avoid the requirement for on-site consultations.
